Where is my Rack and Pinion?
Due to the availability of some rack and pinion cores, the build times for rack and pinions can take up to 5 days. Because some rack and pinion cores can be difficult to acquire, we offer a lifetime warranty for customers who return their original cores. Please contact our customer service team at 888-583-0255 if you have additional questions about your order.

Can I cancel my order?
If your order was placed at detroitaxle.com, please contact customer service via live chat or call 888-583-0255 to review the status of your order. If your order has already been shipped, it cannot be canceled and must be returned to Detroit Axle before processing a refund. For more information on our return policy and refund process, click here
For orders placed through our eBay or Amazon storefronts, please contact customer service through the original site (eBay or Amazon) where your purchase was made. Please note: If your order has already shipped, you will need to refuse or return the package before a refund can be issued.

How will my purchase be shipped?
Orders placed before 2:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) will be shipped the same business day, while orders made after 2:00 p.m. EST will be shipped the following business day. All orders in the continental 48 States will be shipped FREE of charge via FedEx.
Orders outside the continental 48 States (Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, US territories, or international) will be required to pay a surcharge for shipping. Orders will be shipped via FedEx or USPS Priority Mail International at our discretion.

How do I activate the warranty on my transmission?
You must return your original transmission core to activate the warranty on your rebuilt Detroit Axle Transmission.

How does the lifetime warranty work?
To initiate your lifetime warranty, please contact customer service to obtain a prepaid shipping label, then return your original core part to Detroit Axle. Once we receive your core part, your warranty will be activated and we will, at our option, replace or repair your warrantied part. For more information, read our full warranty policy here.

Why is my order not processing? (No shipping method has been selected)
All orders placed on Detroitaxle.com are eligible for free shipping (Except for orders shipped outside of the contiguous United States, which is a shipping method we will be adding in the future). There is no requirement to select a shipment method. Detroit Axle holds the right to select the best-suited shipment method for your order (Most orders are processed through FedEx Ground)
For payment form validation and security, the address entered on the checkout page must match the billing address associated with your payment method. If an order fails to be placed, please verify that your entered address matches the address associated with your payment method.
